We are a music store with three sides to it: teaching, repair, and sales. Guitar lessons and piano lessons run in five monitored rooms with six teachers. The bench handles guitar repair, from setups through fretwork. The store carries new and used guitars, amps, and accessories.
The shop is at 3420 150th Street West in Rosemount Market Square, off 150th and Chippendale, with parking right outside. Hours are noon to eight Monday through Thursday, noon to six Friday, and ten to two Saturday. Closed Sunday. Everything happens on site: lessons, the repair bench, and the instrument wall.
The shop has been family owned since 2012, and it is a small enough place that you deal with the same handful of people. Six teachers work here across five monitored lesson rooms. Guitar work happens on the bench in this building rather than going out to a third party, and the repair rates are posted so you know the cost before you leave the instrument.
We talk through what you want to play, your age and experience, and which days work for you. Then we match you with one of the six teachers and find a slot in one of the five lesson rooms. Lessons are $40 per half hour, paid in four week semesters. Get in touch to start.
No, you do not need to own an instrument before your first lesson. Plenty of students book one before they own anything, and a teacher will tell you what to look for once they know what you want to play. Beginner guitars hang on the wall, and the piano room has a digital piano, so nobody waits to start.
